Whernside – The Three Peaks

Last Sunday we set off again to climb one of the Three Peaks in the Yorkshire Dales this time we decided to walk up Whernside, the highest of the Three Peaks. It was as an absolutely gorgeous trip with some breathtaking views of Ribblehead Viaduct and of course the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.

When we set off the sun was shining and luckily the weather stayed mostly dry. It was a little but stormy the higher we climbed and it was very cold on top of Whernside but it was refreshing after the long trek to the top, a very tiring four hour trip but very much worth it.
