Eye Lift Lumination Serum 30ml £19.99
‘Pollution fighting probiotic and biologically proven microalgae to protect and revive’
This eye cream is made from Seahorse Plankton a magical microalgae , Plankton is a common ingredient in the diet of Seahorses. Plankton is rich with Omega fatty acids, vitamin and antioxidants which can help to increase collagen production making the skin feel firmer and radiant. Beauty Kitchen have teamed up with the Seahorse Trust to help save millions of endangered seahorse.
I have quite sensitive eyes so I was a little wary at first using this product, I have previously used an Argan eye cream which made my eyes sting and go very crusty. I was very impressed with this eye cream, not many eye creams deliver what they promise but this certainly does what it says on the tin.
I have tested it now for around a week now and I have noticed it has plumped out my fine lines and hydrated my eyes. As soon as I apply the cream I can tell the difference my eyes instantly look brighter. It does not sting or make my eyes water and I’m happy to report it does not go crusty and works very well under makeup. Its a must now in my makeup kit.
To apply I carefully dab the product onto my under eye area and eyelid with my finger. Avoid rubbing the product into the skin for a much more illuminated finish.
I will be certain to repurchase this when it runs out, which will not be soon as you get plenty of product and a little goes a long way.
Beauty Boosting BB Cream 30ml £14.99
‘Biologically proven microalgae for protection, blurring and to even out skin tone’
A totally natural and vegan BB cream, naturally fragranced with essential oils. I was super excited to try this BB cream, first of all the smell is amazing but it might not be for everyone. I was pleased that the product did smooth and blur my skin whilst evening out my skin tone. This product would be well suited for those who prefer a very light coverage and beautiful smooth no makeup look.
I really wanted to love this product as much as I did the eye cream but its not for me as a a stand alone product, however its brilliant as a primer . I must admit though I find BB creams do not give me the coverage I need as I have very pigmented red skin on my cheeks. I have recently been wanting to ditch my heavy foundation in favour for something more natural and lighter on the skin but found this product made my skin look orange as I am very pale. It does smooth my skin tone so I use this first under my foundation to create the perfect base. I am currently using Bare Minerals Original foundation and the two work very well together.
Application tip – For a smooth even finish apply with a buffing brush or flat head foundation brush apply in circular motions.
I will definitely be purchasing and testing out more Beauty Kitchen products in the future, I love the fact that there natural and do not test on animals. I am eager to try out there Abyssinian Oil which is proven to be more effective than organ oil.
There packaging is elegant and simple whilst being precycled and carbon neutral.
